ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Label Manager to join our label team out of Stockholm, Sweden. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the label, ensuring the successful promotion and distribution of artists' music. This role involves managing relationships with artists, producers, and other stakeholders, developing marketing strategies, and coordinating with various teams to drive the label's success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the music industry, excellent leadership skills,and a passion for nurturing musical talent.

Responsibilities

· Oversee day-to-day operations for label releases, ensuring successful execution from inception to delivery

· Manage release campaigns, including scheduling, planning, and coordination with internal teams, externalpartners, and third-party agencies

· Serve as the primary point of contact on behalf of the label, maintaining positive and productive relationshipswith artists, management, agents, and industry contacts

· Implement the development of the marketing plan for each release, including coordination between internalteam members and external third parties

· Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including press releases, promotional videos, and social mediacontent

· Work with artists and artist managers in the collection of deliverables, assets, and in the development ofschedules, targets, budgets and creative campaigns

· Act as main liaison with label and artist relations at DSPs, optimizing potential for each release and identifying playlisting and other marketing opportunities

· Drive label engagement utilizing marketing and data analytics tools to guide and support strategic decisions for marketing and sales goals

· Provide advice and assistance on all aspects of music distribution to ensure successful releases

· Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for all projects

· Assist with the signing and development of new artists

· Negotiate contracts and agreements with artists, producers, and other stakeholders

· Perform a wide range of additional tasks per the label rosters’ evolving needs, including but not limited tocollaborating with the creative and design teams to deliver compelling release campaigns, creating andpresenting comprehensive label business reviews, catalog ingestions, clearing claims, and managing rightsconflicts

REQUIREMENTS

· 4 years' experience within a distribution, label, management, or music company working directly with labels,managers and artists

· Knowledge of current and future trends in dance music

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills (including iTunes, email, and file management)

· Understanding of digital distribution, including digital marketing, operations and metadata requirements

· Confidence with data and evolving technology, and explaining their role in driving music consumption tointernal and external partners

· Current industry network and relationships in the independent music industry and/or digital platforms

· Customer service and teamwork oriented, with ability to monitor and develop productive relationships.Problem solver, calm under pressure, highly organized

· Highly effective communicator, skilled at building and delivering successful presentations, both oral and visual

· Ability to maintain multiple project timelines with close attention to detail while being accountable and responsive

· Experience with top digital music services, social media applications, and digital music best practices

· Fluent in English (Swedish a plus).
